Production Process
Raw material processing
Carbon steel/stainless steel is cast into a Y-shaped valve body blank, and the flange and sealing surface are precision machined;
Filter assembly
A metal filter screen of the corresponding mesh size (such as stainless steel mesh) is installed in the valve body;
Sealing test
Pressure testing is performed on the valve body to ensure the sealing performance of the side cover and flange;
Surface treatment
Carbon steel is painted for rust prevention, and stainless steel is passivated. Finally, it is marked and shipped.
Routine maintenance

Regular cleaning: Depending on the impurity content of the medium, open the side cover and clean the filter screen every 1-3 months (to prevent impurity buildup from affecting flow);
Filter screen inspection: Check the filter screen for damage during cleaning; replace damaged screens promptly;
Seal replacement: Replace the gaskets on the side cover/flange promptly after they age to prevent leakage.
Working principle
The working principle of a Y-type filter is **"flow channel interception + impurity deposition"**. The core logic is to utilize a Y-shaped flow channel and a built-in filter screen to achieve media purification:
Media Flow: Fluid flows into the filter in the direction of the arrow on the valve body (from the main Y-shaped pipe), passing through the built-in metal filter screen;
Impurity Interception: Solid particles in the fluid (such as silt and debris) are blocked by the filter screen and cannot pass through to the downstream pipeline;
Impurity Deposition: The intercepted impurities are deposited by gravity in the "branch pipe (drainage outlet)" of the Y-shaped structure;
Purified Output: The filtered clean fluid passes through the filter screen and flows out from the outlet into downstream equipment.
In short: The Y-shaped flow channel design ensures efficient media flow while allowing impurities to naturally deposit in the branch pipe. Subsequent cleaning of impurities can be achieved simply by opening the side cover.
