EN124 GGG50 D400 Ductile Iron Manhole Cover is a heavy-duty municipal infrastructure product compliant with the EU Construction Products Regulation (CPR), featuring three core professional advantages:​

Standard Compliance：Adhering strictly to EN 124:2015 standard and CE certified, the D400 load class withstands 400kN (40 tons) static load for 3 minutes with deformation ≤5mm. It resists fracture from 50kg hammer impact at 1m height, suitable for heavy-traffic scenarios like urban arterial roads and bus lanes.​

Material Performance：Made of DIN-standard GGG50 ferritic ductile iron with tensile strength ≥500MPa, yield strength ≥320MPa, and elongation ≥7%. Spheroidized graphite treatment ensures steel-grade toughness, with fatigue strength close to steel-residual deformation <1mm after 2 million cycles of rolling load.​

Key Design：Radial bottom ribs disperse stress; the ＜3mm gap between cover and frame plus rubber gaskets reduce vibration noise. Diamond anti-slip surface (friction coefficient ≥0.6) and bottom drainage holes prevent ice damage. Optional painting or epoxy coating extends corrosion resistance to over 30 years.​
